It's over-rated man!

Okay, so I know I haven't written in a really long while and I feel worse because all these months I was supposed to write because of all that was happening in my life but as always, I have been justifying the name of my website I guess!! :P

 First of all, there are some stuff that I really should have written about but I didn't or haven't yet..like, leaving my oh-too-good colony, changing to an entirely different life, what I thought would be different and what I was expecting from the life in the US when I was in India (which I think I won't be able to recall now with accuracy unfortunately and naturally!) There was also some other stuff which I have apparently forgotten over this kinda-feels-longer-than-three-months time!

So now what I sat down to write about - I am like, sitting in my home on the couch, bored to death and feeling the feeling that I feel about most of the stuff most of the time- 'this is soooo over-rated'!!!! US is over rated! Yes it is man! Ask any Indian who is here and you will know I am not lying..!!

I wonder what makes it so though- the sheer number of Indians who make it feel like we are in some other, just better, town of India or the presence of gandgi which I didn't think would be there or the lack of tall buildings where I live, or something else! But I know now that what I felt that my life or I will change drastically (I never thought it would be completely changed or crap) coming here isn't true, it is still all the same, I am still the same. I still sit around all day doing nothing, which I had thought will definitely change coming here!!! *some things soooo don't change*

 Now on to some more things that I thought would be interesting but aren't- well, basically, the cuisine! Waffles- overrated! (I had been waiting to eat them since I had seen them so hyped in Gossip Girl!) Mac n Cheese- a li'l less than waffles but still, over rated again!!! And then come pancakes- yes you guessed, over rated!!!! I would rather eat pooran poli! And finally, cheesecakes-soooo OVER RATED!!! (Many will disagree with me on this one but whatever!).
Anyway, I just don't understand how can these pepole's palate be developed to actually LOVE these things! I know different upbringing blah blah but I guess I was more considerate of the fact when I wasn't here...which I guess... is very me..!

 And the last thing I wanna give a special mention before I sign off for now is that one would think that there are like, all honest people here and stuff which is true of the general people in general but not of the dukkandaars you know!!! Bohot thagte hain!! (!!!!!) Just imagine!! I never saw this one coming and had an experience on the second day itself!! It's not fairyland ! :P

 I would like to end with the same line as the title! Just read it again ! :P

I have been thinking about the topic since a long time but as always, I am a lazy writer..or rather, a reluctant one. I have put that in quotes in the title because that's how people refer to 'the' person. It is a little overrated and cheesy I feel (the tag I mean), which is why I didn't add 'my' in there, felt that would be too much for my liking. Whatever, the term has been there since forever so I should probably shut up about my opinion of that. The real blog post starts now (which by the title you might have judged that it is kind of like a letter if you may). So this is my first blog post (though I have this account from god knows when!) and I didn’t have an idea as to where to start from! So, lost in the chain of thoughts, I realized since how long I’ve been thinking of having an active blog but I never do; it’s not like I don’t love writing, neither is laziness a reason when you really want to (Well, maybe it is up to some extent but not much I’ll have to say!), then what was it!!
